學院概況

武漢大學留學生教育學院自20世紀50年代起接收外國留學生，始終開展全方位、多層次、寬領域的教育交流與合作，共培養了來自世界113個國家和地區的數千名學生。學院把開拓創新作為提高來華留學工作質量和效益的源泉，不斷增強了來華留學工作的戰略性、前瞻性以及開創性。

學院先後與加拿大、韓國、越南、泰國等國家及地區的高校合作開展了“2+2”或“2+2.5”本科生、普通進修生、實習生和短期班項目。MBBS英語臨床醫學本科項目不僅來自印巴地區，更來自全球22個國家，歐美國家學生人數呈逐年上升趨勢。

專業設定

漢語進修

一、普通進修生（學習除漢語之外的專業學生），學制為半年、一年、二年；

每年9月和2月開學，申請時間分別為當年的3月1日至6月20日和前一年的10月8日至當年的12月20日。

二、語言進修生，可隨時報名，沒有截止日期，沒有學習期限規定。

語言進修是為外國留學生開設漢語進修課程，由專職對外漢語教師授課，從聽，說，讀，寫諸方面進行培訓。學校根據學生漢語水平，將學生分別編入從零起點開始的初、中、高三種程度10個級次的班級，實行小班教學。

三、團體班，一般為2周到8周，可根據學生需要開設課程，5人開班。除學習漢語外，還根據需要安排文化活動和旅遊。全年接受報名。
