概況

波士頓學院高中於1863年創立於美國。波士頓學院高中是一個男校,由耶穌會最初創辦。波士頓學院(BC)是一所羅馬天主教會的大學,故波士頓學院高中是一所天主教會創辦的高中。它有一個在校學生數在7-12年級約1,550名。

波士頓學院高中位於美國麻薩諸塞州波士頓的多切斯特莫里西大道150號,占地40英畝(160,000 )。波士頓學院高中畢業生本科到波士頓學院(BC)就讀的被稱為“ 雙鷹” 。如果他接著去波士頓學院法學院(BC Law)就讀碩士學位 ,他則被稱為“ 三雕” 。

歷史

1863年3月31日, 麻薩諸塞州州政府批准了波士頓學院高中的建校申請。.約翰內斯Bapst神父被選為第一任校長,主持學校的總體工作。校址在波士頓哈里森大街南端 。早些年,波士頓學院高中提供了一個7年計畫高中和大學連續計畫。.它課堂的第一個22名學生年齡不等,從11至16歲。該課程是根據耶穌會的意旨,強調拉丁文希臘文哲學神學的學習。
