After the plane landed, the Smith family grabbedtheir hand luggage, disembarked and headedtowards immigration. They had to queue fora while but finally they reached an immigrationcounter. They gave their passports to theimmigration officer and he checked the detailscarefully. There was no problem and their visaswere in order, so they were able to enter Chinafor their holiday.
After immigration, they walked to the luggagereclaim area. Eventually, their bags came aroundon the carousel, and Mr Smith loaded themonto an airport trolley. Next, they had to passthrough customs. The customs officer wassatisfied with the information they hadprovided, and soon they were in the arrivalshall.
There, they saw a neatly dressed young man,holding a card with their names on it. Heintroduced himself as Zhou Ming, their guidefor this special holiday. They all shook handsand then Zhou Ming pushed their trolley tothe car park where a car was waiting.They drove through the crowded streets ofShanghai to their hotel. On arrival at the hotel,the doorman opened the car door, and whilea bellboy brought in their luggage, the Smithswent to reception to check in.
