創作背景
1970年年底，Jim Croce妻子告訴他懷孕的訊息，經常在外演出的Jim Croce深感內疚，於是滿懷感激地創作出了生平最有名的歌曲——《Time in a Bottle》。Jim Croce與Adrian James（1973年家中）
時光滴答滴答走的當中，夢也一場一場的來到，最後總覺得一些遺憾在，如果時間再多一點的話，或者時間能走慢一點的話，可能有些夢還來得及遂願，但是，就像我寫的歌，我正在寫《匆匆》這首歌的時候，它是我第二首作品，這個歌裡面的時間是一個箭頭一直往前走，那不是說我們虛擲光陰，是光陰把我們拋得遠遠的，但是我們一直在唱Jim Croce的一首歌，叫做《Time in a Bottle》。我才知道，原來也有人希望時間是可以鎖在瓶子裡的，可以把一些還沒有達到的願望或者可以把它暫時鎖在一個地方。
