創作背景
《I'm with You》的歌曲歌詞和歌曲簡譜由艾薇兒·拉維尼參與編寫，而音樂伴奏則由The Matrix製作團隊的勞倫·克里斯蒂、斯科特·斯波克、格雷厄姆·愛德華茲負責處理。而後，《I'm with You》歌曲的伴奏混音工作，則是在位於佛羅里達州邁阿密的南部海灘工作室進行。在此之前，艾薇兒·拉維尼正在創作她的首張專輯（即後來的《Let Go》）。當時，艾薇兒團隊的經紀人桑迪·羅伯特隨口建議她，試著與The Matrix製作團隊寫歌。於是，艾薇兒聽取了他的建議，並在這次合作中和The Matrix一同，將《I'm with You》等在內的五首歌曲全部創作出來。
