湖北武漢人，博士（後）/教授（破格晉升），為四川省傑出青年科學基金獲得者，油氣井化學封堵與增產校級創新團隊帶頭人，西南石油大學第二屆“中青年骨幹教師”培養計畫人選。主要從事油田化學與提高採收率領域教學與科研，主講《油藏工程》，《油層物理》和《提高採收率原理》3門本科生課程。主持國家級、省部級基金（連續2次承擔中國石油科技創新基金）以及中國石油、中國石化、中國海洋石油企業科技攻關項目總計20項。在SPE Journal等期刊發表論文60餘篇，其中SCI論文44篇，他引近600次，ESI全球前1%高被引論文2篇，1篇入選領跑者5000中國精品科技期刊頂尖論文，申請和授權發明專利18件，參編著作1部。通過產學研結合，解決了油田生產技術難題，得到學術界和工業界認可，成果曾被美國NewsRx網站、美國著名財經網路媒體Equities能源欄目、可再生能源全球創新網站作為“Key Scientific Article”（亮點科技論文）、中國石化報、中國石油新聞網、中國海洋石油報等報導，獲省部級科技進步一等獎1項、二等獎3項。
