袁順達，1980年10月出生於貴州大方，彝族，2002年畢業於中國地質大學（武漢），2007年在中國科學院地球化學研究所獲得礦物學、岩石學、礦床學專業博士學位。2007年起在中國地質科學院礦產資源研究所工作，任研究員、博士生導師。

2002年9月至2007年7月：中國科學院地球化學研究所學習，獲理學博士學位；
2007年7月至2009年12月：中國地質科學院礦產資源研究所任助理研究員；
2009年4月至2010年4月：美國地質調查局訪問學者；
2010年1月至2015年12月：中國地質科學院礦產資源研究所任副研究員；
2015年12月至2016年3月： 加拿大麥吉爾大學高級訪問學者；
2017年12月至2018年6月： 加拿大麥吉爾大學高級訪問學者；
2018年8月至2019年1月： 加拿大麥吉爾大學高級訪問學者；
2016年1月至今： 中國地質科學院礦產資源研究所任研究員。
研究領域及成果
主要從事熱液礦床成礦作用及成礦規律研究。發表論文近80篇，被SCI收錄31篇，其中第一作者及通訊作者身份在《Geochimica Cosmochimica Acta》、《Economic Geology》、《Mineralium Deposita》、《Ore Geology Reviews》、《Lithos》、《Acta Geologica Sinica》及《岩石學報》等國內外礦床學和地球化學領域主流刊物上發表SCI論文20篇。
