2017年9月30日，當選2017年北京學者。現任中國組合數學與圖論學會副理事長、國際組合數學及其套用協會Fellow。目前受邀擔任國際組合設計界權威SCI期刊《Journal of Combinatorial Designs》及《The Open Mathematics Journal》、《International Journal of Combinatorics》、《Advances and Applications in Discrete Mathematics》四個國際期刊的編委。
迄今在《Journal of Combinatorial Theory, Series A》、《SIAM Journal on Discrete Mathematics》、《IEEE Transactions on Information Theory》、《Mathematics of Computation》等國內外重要期刊上發表學術論文117篇，其中SCI收錄103篇。美國數學會MathSciNet資料庫統計顯示：已發表論文被152位作者共引用達606次。ISI Web of Knowledge中Web of Science資料庫統計顯示：已發表的103篇SCI收錄論文至今被SCI收錄論文引用總頻次為660、當前H指數（h-index）為14。
