人物經歷
1974年河北邯鄲制氧機廠參加工作，1978年3月入北京鋼鐵學院機械系學習，1982年2月畢業獲工學士學位；1982年2月至1984年8月在武漢鋼鐵公司工作；1984年入北京科技大學熱能工程系讀研究生，1990年獲博士學位；1993~1994年美國天主教大學工學院高級訪問學者和客座研究員。現任北京科技大學機械工程學院教授，博士生導師，院長。兼任中國金屬學會理事，熱能與熱工學會理事，美國機械工程師學會會員。
主講課程
在教學方面，主講製冷原理與設備、空氣調節、稀有氣體製取原理與方法、熱工學、人工環境等本科生課程以及流態化工程等研究生課程。
主要貢獻
在科研方面，主要從事（1）流化床理論及套用；（2）製冷與低溫技術；（3）能量的有效轉換和利用；（4）大型空分設備的計算機操作仿真；（5）製冷、暖通和工業熱工設備的監測與自動控制等方面的研究工作。發表論文50餘篇，著作3部，獲國家專利7項，通過部級技術鑑定1項，作為負責人主持和完成了多項國家、企業科研項目以及開發項目。曾獲中國青年科技獎、霍英東教育基金會優秀高校青年教師獎和國家教委科技進步獎。
