王寧,男,1983年出生,博士。大連海事大學教授、博士生導師。入選國家海洋領域優秀科技青年、交通運輸行業科技創新推進人才支持計畫中青年領軍人才、交通運輸部青年科技英才、遼寧省“百千萬人才工程”百層次人選、大連市傑出青年科技人才、首屆大連市科技之星、大連市首批領軍後備人才等,獲遼寧省技術發明獎一等獎、首屆中國航海學會青年科技獎等。出版學術專著3部;以第一/通訊作者發表SCI論文50餘篇,其中入選工程領域ESI前1%高被引論文13篇、工程領域ESI前0.1%熱點論文2篇,SCI他引600餘次、Google學術總引1500餘次,H指數21。現為IEEE高級會員、SNAME會員、中國交通運輸協會青科委委員、中國自動化學會會員、中國自動化學會第一屆自適應動態規劃與強化學習專委會委員、中國系統仿真學會會員,擔任Neurocomputing和International Journal of Fuzzy Systems等5種SCI期刊編委、副主編和客座主編。主要研究方向包括:智慧型海洋機器人、無人駕駛船舶、智慧型自主系統、海洋自主系統電氣與信息技術等。
