主要貢獻
主要從事微生物資源與代謝工程、微生物生物能源、功能基因組與生物信息、畜用生物製劑與生物安全等領域的研究工作。先後主持科技部國家973、國家支撐計畫、基礎性工作專項、國際合作項目，國家自然科學基金，教育部重點項目，四川省支撐計畫、四川省傑出青年基金及成都市科技攻關項目等研究工作。
申請和獲得11項發明專利，出版教材1部，編寫國家微生物資源平台描述規範等。建立了四川省微生物資源保藏中心、四川省生物信息與代謝工程共享實驗平台和微生物與代謝工程四川省重點實驗室。
