方博士主持參與10項以上省部級以上課題，擁有國家發明專利1項，軟體著作權3項，編寫書本章節1章（英文），發表國際期刊（SCI檢索）和會議（EI檢索）學術論文50餘篇，其中，IEEE Transactions/Journal(包括IEEE Trans. on Image Processing, IEEE Trans. on Multimedia, IEEE Trans. Circuits and Systems for Video Technology等頂級期刊)近20篇，論文被引用200餘次（GoogleScholar統計）。曾擔任HHME 2013學術會議秘書長、IEEE VCIP 2013國際會議‘Perception-driven image and video processing for visual communication systems’特邀專題主席，QoMEX 2014國際會議‘Perceptual Graphics, Rendering and High-dynamic Range Imaging’特邀專題主席，IEEE ICME 2014國際會議‘The Third International Workshop on Emerging Multimedia Systems and Applications’研討會主席。目前擔任著名國際學術期刊IEEE T-IP，T-CSVT，T-MM，T-B,T-SMC, JSTSP等審稿專家，同時也是著名國際學術會議IEEE ICME，IEEE ICIP，IEEE ISCAS，IEEE ICASSP，IEEE VCIP，QOMEX, ACM MM等程式委員會委員或審稿專家。
