龐龍是一個陽光帥氣，英俊瀟灑的健康硬派東北大漢，他的每一個微笑都撼動的毅絲們的心靈，他的生活經歷和人生見實，讓他的歌聲有一般人少有的氣息，脫離港台歌星獨有的特點，創造了自已獨有的特點，一首《兩隻蝴蝶》唱紅了華夏大地每一個角落，只要你留意大街小巷和網路上到處都有他動聽的歌聲．
龐龍1971年5月2日出生在遼寧省阜新市太平區一個礦工家庭。全家只靠父親一個人的工資艱難生活。龐龍還有3個姐姐，他是父母唯一的兒子。他上國中的時候，港台歌曲開始在內地流行，每到晚上，街頭巷尾到處都是懷抱吉他，自彈自唱的時髦青年，周圍則圍著一圈“發燒友”，龐龍也成了其中的一員。漸漸地，他迷上了音樂，並產生了一個當時在很多人看來很不切實際的夢想：我要靠唱歌改變自己的命運！那時候，龐龍最大的心愿就是擁有一把吉他。在他的軟磨硬纏下，父親終於給他買了一把吉他，這成了他平生最珍貴的禮物。
