從事臨床工作16餘年，熟悉各種泌尿外科疾病的診治，多年致力於男科疾病（勃起功能障礙、早泄、男性不育、生殖器畸形、性傳播疾病、前列腺疾病等）發病機制及治療方面的基礎與臨床性研究。多次主持省級科研課題研究，多次參與國家自然科學基金、衛生部、上海市科委資助課題研究，參編泌尿外科及男科學書籍多部。以第一作者及通訊作者身份在《J SEX MEDICINE》、《International Journal of impotence》、《Reproductive Biology and Endocrinology》、《中華男科學雜誌》、《中國男科學雜誌》、《現代泌尿生殖腫瘤雜誌》、《上海第二醫科大學學報》等雜誌上共發表論文50餘篇，在男科學疾病的機制研究及診斷治療方面取得了突破性的進展。
