人物經歷
金光學園高等學校畢業。學習京都大學大學院理學研究科博士課程。理學博士。元日本天文學會副理事長。現為大阪教育大學教育學部教授。專業是恆星物理學、高分散分光觀測。特別，取得多數用恆星大氣的化學組成的研究的全世界的成果。近幾年，活躍地致力於行星的恆星系的化學組成研究。
