劇情簡介
Carmody一家一直在澳洲內陸過著遊牧生活。兒子Sean負責牧羊。他和母親Ida想找個農場定居下來。父親Paddy還想繼續像往常那樣生活。後來這一家裡發生了好多事。有孩子出生，還有父親的酗酒賭博惡習，以及草原上進行的剪羊毛和賽馬大賽，這些終於使得他們決定下來是定居還是繼續遊牧生活。
