樂曲背景
“看看世界巡迴演唱會” 進入歐洲巡演，行經義大利米蘭Teatro Linear Ciak演出時，Karen的好人緣邀請到MIKA擔任嘉賓，中、西巨星的夢幻結合，全場驚呼，兩人合唱《Stardust》，全場瘋狂high翻，MIKA更形容Karen是一位不可思議的女神！兩人今年初於一場活動中相識，同樣都有英國背景的他們，就像許久不見的老友般相談甚歡，Karen熱情邀請MIKA觀賞倫敦站演唱會，不巧時間對不上，MIKA轉而自願擔任莫文蔚米蘭站的演出嘉賓。
一見如故的兩人都不願意只合作這么一次，因此決定重新詮釋MIKA的經典歌曲《Stardust》，製作這首歌時，工作滿檔的兩人是分開錄音，但都會透過電話或訊息交換彼此的感覺與想法，喜愛中文的MIKA提議何不在歌曲中添加一句中文歌詞！一向對東西文化交匯相當有見解的Karen便立刻聯想到自己的專輯《不散，不見》與《Stardust》歌詞“When will I see you again?”意境不謀而合，因此神來一筆的巧思，決定將其中一句歌詞改成“我們不散不見”。由於MIKA相當看重這次合作，也立即決定將這首歌重新混音製作。兩人均表達因為這次合作，而感受到彼此像認識很久的朋友般相談甚歡，一拍即合，默契十足！
值得一提的是，要完成《Stardust》這首歌的MV也是相當不容易，兩人合體表演只有在演唱會上短短一首歌的時間，不僅時間緊迫，場地本身的限制也無法自在拍攝，因此導演李伯爾尼特別出動了10台攝影機，製作團隊全員嚴正以對這僅只一次的拍攝機會，完美捕捉全方位的精彩瞬間！這也是Karen今年首支全新單曲，能和MIKA合作並於全球發行， Karen表示，“我們像是已經認識很久的朋友一樣，什麼都能聊，這次的合作實在是太棒、太榮幸了！”
