創作背景
《Moonlight》這首歌來自於潘瑋柏遠赴美國洛杉磯沉澱時的作品，提到這首歌的出現，潘瑋柏提到當時自己開車在前往工作的路上，當時他望向天空，發現天色漸暗，在夕陽之中，同時也看見了一道淺淺的月亮，讓他想到自己此時才正要開始工作，尤其創作時幾乎都是日夜顛倒、幾乎是24小時不眠不休的狀態，因為只要一睜開眼，四面八方所帶給他的一切與衝擊，都有可能瞬間成為他的靈感，而這些創作的過程在外人看來雖然辛苦，卻是最能帶給他快樂的時刻。而在這樣的情境下，他事後提筆寫下了英文版的《Moonlight》歌詞，一字一句都充滿著強大力量，敘述著無論如何都要全力以赴，不要留下遺憾；不管結局如何，所留下的都是精彩，這世界上更沒有絕對的對錯與輸贏，整首歌曲都散發著滿滿的正向能量。
說到這首歌的錄製過程，潘瑋柏提到當時正好是身體狀態處於低潮的時候，那時候的他因為免疫神經失調、血壓忽高忽低，甚至每錄一遍demo就可能因為頭昏腦脹無法久站。儘管如此，毅力過人的他仍咬著牙錄完了這首歌，事後回憶起來，他只淡淡的說了句：「如果這是我的最後一首歌，我一定要把它完成。“Do it one more time。”
