Ellie Goulding是BBC Sound of 2010的新星榜首.。1986年出生於英格蘭Hereford的鄉下地方Lyonshall，早期創作的音樂以Folk為主，之後在Frankmusik的影響下，轉向 Electro-pop界發展.與其它Folk或Electro -pop歌手不同的是.她並沒有捨棄Folk或完全投向Electro-pop。而是將兩者結合成 Folktronica(電子民謠)。這是Ellie Goulding音樂上最大的特色之一。
