希拉蕊·達夫於2005年8月發行首張精選專輯《Most Wanted》，於首周登上公告牌二百強專輯榜冠軍。2007年4月，希拉蕊·達夫發行第三張專輯《Dignity》。2010年10月12日，希拉蕊·達夫與伊莉斯·艾倫合作出版書籍《Elixir》。2015年6月，希拉蕊發行第五張專輯《Breathe In. Breathe Out.》。
該片改編自卡通片《Jem》，講述了傑姆與她的朋友們組成樂隊，突破困難，走上音樂巔峰的故事。該片主角是一個名叫傑瑞卡·本頓（奧布里·皮普爾斯飾）的女孩，她是Starlight Music唱片公司的老總，不過外人不知道的是，傑瑞卡還有另一個身份——歌手“傑姆”。原來傑瑞卡的父親去世後留給她一台可以投射全息影像的電腦Synergy，利用全息技術，傑瑞卡可以隨時隨地變成“傑姆”而不被人發現。“傑姆”和她的朋友們組成了搖滾樂隊“傑姆和全息圖”（Jem and the Holograms），這支樂隊深受大眾歡迎，因此受到對手和其他唱片公司的妒恨，他們給傑姆的樂隊和傑瑞卡的公司製造了很多麻煩，但是傑姆（傑瑞卡）總是能成功化解各種困難。劇照（Jem & The Holograms）
