Rock Am Ring通常都在每年的5,6月份在德國的紐伯靈賽道（Germany Nürburgring）上舉辦，從1985年開始一直到現在...
歷史沿革
據說第一屆，即在1985年舉辦這個只是為了慶祝紐伯靈賽道建成吧，結果呢，那時候居然有超過75,000名觀眾前來，於是主辦方從此以後每年都舉辦了。但是1989年和1990年沒舉辦。另外有幾次沒有在紐伯靈賽道上舉行，在外站上看那些資料，不知道我翻譯正不正確，有3次不在Nürburgring，分別是1993年在Vienna（維也納），1994年在Munich（慕尼黑Riem-Airport機場，那屆稱做“Rock in Riem”），1995年在Nuremberg Olympic Park（紐倫堡奧林匹克公園，所以也叫做"Rock im Park"）。
