ONLY(英文單詞)

ONLY(英文單詞)

conj.

only in this way can you learn English well
I will have a chance of achieving my dream only then
如only後跟
Only when the war was over in 1918 was he able to get back to work.
Only in this way can you learn English well.
Only after a bitter struggle was the aim achieved.
Only the teachers are allowed to use the room.(不倒裝)
Only five men were hurt in the accident.(不倒裝)
The boy was helped out only when his father arrived in a hurry.
Only then did he realize the importance of English
Only then did he realize the importance of English.
只能講we needn't go to school only on Sunday.
She saw only seven men.
We learned it only yesterday.
He's only a worker.
I've only read the book once.
Only then we got to know each other better.
正:Only then did we get to know each other better.
正:We got to know each other better only then.
Only after new China was founded was he able to go to school.
4. only doing sth.與only to do sth.都可作結果狀語,區別是:only to do sth.
The sap passes right through their bodies, only getting a little thicker and sweeter.
Smith hurried home, only to find the door locked.
I worked hard, only to fail at last.
He is the only one of the students who has read the book.
(不用have)
Guilin is the only city that he has been to.
(不用which)
