◎簡 介
少年卡文的哥哥馬克曾是大學的摔跤明星，在一次去比賽的途中遭遇車禍，父親不幸身亡。父親的死亡使得家人分離，馬克搬出去生活而卡文和母親雪倫一起相依為命。為了讓家人再次聚在一起，卡文加入了學校的摔跤隊。經歷過一次次失敗後，他選擇了放棄。就在釣魚散心時，他遇到了陌生老人，老人的安慰使他重新燃起希望。而此時，卡文的哥哥馬克正因酗酒鬧事而在法庭接受審理。卡文只身前去為他辯護。被釋放的馬克請弟弟來家中吃飯，二人從此建立了摔跤師生關係，最終家人通過摔跤團聚，多年的傷疤癒合。
