樂隊介紹

Survivor樂隊[1]早年由JimPeterik（鍵盤手）,Gary Smith和DennisKeithJohnson,DaveBickler,Frankie Sullivan組成。Dave Bickler擔任主唱。 Stephan 和MarcDroubay隨後加入。
第一張正式專輯《Premonition》在1981年推出。
樂隊隨即在1982年應西爾維斯特史泰龍為電影《洛奇3》作主題曲《eye of the tiger》，並且推出同名專輯《eye of the tiger》。
此曲一舉奪得本年葛萊美獎並且榮獲多項最佳單曲獎項，將survivor樂隊推到了頂峰。
但在1983年樂隊主唱Dave Bickler進行了喉部手術後，Jimi Jamison應survivor樂隊邀請並加入樂隊，擔任主唱（1984-1989）。
樂隊隨後在1985年應西爾維斯特史泰龍之邀繼續為電影《洛奇4》作曲並演唱《Burningheart》。
1986年在專輯《WhenSeconds Count》銷量達到了500,000張，樂隊被鑑定為“金品質”的地位。
1989年，Dave Bickler歸隊後繼續擔任主唱，Jimi Jamison退出了survivor樂隊。
1989-2000年，樂隊除了演唱會工作以外，還參加了Work on Greatest Hits album（最偉大的經典音樂收集冊）工作。
2000-2006年，樂隊發表了新的專輯《Reach》，並且加入了新的成員。
