Gotye，原名Wouter De Backer ，出生於1980年5月21日，比利時裔澳大利亞人，藝名Gotye，是一名樂器家、唱作人。"Gotye" 由"Gaultier" (或者"Gautier"或者"Gauthier")派生而來， 對應法語名字"Wouter" (英語"Walter" )。 Gotye的音樂被認為與Sting還有Peter Gabriel的音樂有相似性。同時他也是澳大利亞樂隊The Basics的現任鼓手兼主唱。
