《Dance In The Dark》為Lady GagaEP專輯《The Fame Monster》中的一首歌曲。這首歌原本將作為《The Fame Monster》的第三支單曲發行，但是由於GaGa鐘情與強烈要求為《Alejandro》，所以《Dance In The Dark》變為第四主打單曲；但是後來因為銷量飽和，加上新專輯《Born This Way》正在製作，最終放棄了發行這支單曲，十分可惜。最終《Dance in the Dark》只作為數位下載和電台單曲發布。
這首歌曲受啟發於Gaga的"Fear of Self Monster"，這首歌描寫了臥室裡面兩個獨處之人的親密關係。據Gaga，這首歌表現了一個女孩因為對自己身體的尷尬、不自信而只願在關燈之後做愛。她說自己在MAC AIDS Fund的工作中碰到過這樣的女孩。這首歌曲不是關於自由，而是關於Gaga自己對於她們的感同身受。
