D-Fend Reloaded是 DosBox 的一個前端工具，是採用 GPL 協定的自由軟體，可對遊戲進行管理、配置等操作，功能十分強大。D-Fend Reloaded可為 DOS 遊戲生成 DOSBox 配置，還支持ScummVM（同樣是另外一款模擬器）。眾所周知 DOSBox 採用文本方式配置，參數眾多，普通用戶要為一個 DOS 遊戲編寫恰當配置不是一件容易的事，於是就有一些圖形前端工具來輔助完成這個任務，而 D-Fend 曾經是出色圖形前端之一(免費軟體，閉源），後來停止開發，有個德國程式設計師表示很失望很受傷很不爽，於是自己重新實現一個，就是今天介紹的 D-Fend Reloaded，D-Fend 重裝上陣。經歷差不多三年時間，功能逐漸豐富，超越 D-Fend。目前最新的版本號為1.3.1。
主要功能
管理DosBox配置：有人性化的嚮導，填表就行啦，非常簡單，不用輸命令，還支持開發中的DosBox功能，0.4版後添加更多的預設模板。
遊戲管理：遊戲分類管理，如果很多Dos遊戲，不同遊戲可以用不同配置。同時也支持windows、QuickBASIC、ScummVM、超任等模擬器遊戲的管理。
遊戲截圖，音頻管理：這是為遊戲添加附加信息，可用快捷鍵為遊戲自動錄音，錄像，截圖。
遊戲作弊：修改遊戲存檔，在遊戲裡搜尋地址等。
建立捷徑：這樣在桌面雙擊圖示就能直接進遊戲了。
生成安裝包：指把Dosbox和配置檔案跟遊戲一起打包，方便分享，比你更懶不用D-Fend Reloaded的人就不用重新配置Dosbox了。如果你覺得用模擬器還是不爽,還可以幫你創建引導的磁碟映像，還有一個類似 Linux 那樣的軟體包管理器，遊戲下載安裝配置運行一條龍服務。
鏡像製作：軟碟，硬碟，光碟都可以。
多用戶配置：可以選擇把遊戲配置儲存到系統用戶目錄（多用戶使用不干擾），還是軟體根目錄（USB便攜）。

D-Fend Reloade 的官方下載頁面（目前已無法訪問，可搜尋軟體名或到參考資料頁下載）提供多種安裝包，一般推薦使用集成 DOSBox 的自動安裝程式，也有直接解壓可用的 zip 包，如果你喜歡手動配置，可以下載最小化的壓縮檔，只包含 D-Fend Reloaded 本身，不帶 DOSBox 和 FreeDOS 工具。也有一些無著作權問題的 DOS 遊戲打包下載。

D-Fend Reloaded 1.3.3 is a bug fix and service release with only few new features.
The changelog:
- Updated DOSZip from 2.35 to 2.44.
- The mobygames data read can read the game description now, too.
- Added an option to disable file checksums for multiple profiles at once to
the multiple profiles editor.
- New tree structure filter section "Recently started" will list the last 50
games started.
- Added a new "Recently started" section to the tray area D-Fend Reloaded icon
context menu listing the last 10 started games.
- Improved the mount and imgmount command interpreter which is used to scan the
[autoexec] sections of imported conf files.
- [Fix] Starting programs from Windows game profiles that need admin rights
did not work.
