網站名稱的意思是中文“好朋友” 【haopy】 （簡寫），拉近了我們的距離。由於網站的運營都由站長一人承擔，並且是非贏利性公益網站。強大的網友群的聚集使得伺服器不堪重負，再加上經濟等原因，網站經常性的關閉早已成為習慣，誰也不知道他會什麼時候關閉，也沒有人知道會什麼時候突然開放，一切都是不定性的。至今為止風向逆轉卻仍讓不少的搖滾網民為之留戀，風向逆轉永遠都是搖民們期待的對象，搖滾網站歷史上最神秘的一塊地方。
最新動態：在關閉了長達2年之久，網站已於2011年6月中旬再次開放。可是現在卻又因為一些原因而再次關閉.
