鄧玉輝

鄧玉輝,博士,教授,博士生導師。

2009年7月加入廣州暨南大學計算機系,10月破格評為教授,現任計算機科學系副主任。建立暨南大學數據存儲與集群計算實驗室。2008年至2009年,在國際存儲系統公司EMC擔任Senior Research Scientist; 2005年至2008年在英國Cranfield大學,Cambridge-Cranfield高性能計算中心擔任Research Officer; 2004年於華中科技大學計算機外存儲系統國家專業實驗室獲博士學位。2010年獲第16屆中國信息存儲大會優秀論文獎。2014年獲廣東省計算機學會2014年度優秀論文二等獎。

研究方向

近十年來一直從事計算機系統結構,信息存儲理論及基礎技術方面的研究。研究興趣主要包括:雲計算、網路存儲、集群計算、綠色計算、計算機系統結構、計算機系統性能評估等。建立暨南大學數據存儲與集群計算實驗室。

主要貢獻

研究成果在2007年進入了國際會議ACM/IEEE SC07(International Conference for High Performance Computing,Networking, Storage and Analysis)的存儲挑戰決賽,一起進入的有:美國聖地亞超級計算中心、美國匹茲堡超級計算中心、和美國洛斯阿拉莫斯國家實驗室。2008年進入了EMC 2008全球創新大會決賽。論文Architectures and optimization methods of flash memory based storage systems連續24個月進入國際學術期刊《Journal of Systems Architecture》下載最多的論文的前三名。
近年來主持了國家自然科學基金面上項目三項,廣東省自然科學基金重點項目,廣東省重大科技專項兩項(聯合主持),廣東省省部產學研合作重大專項(聯合主持),教育部留學回國科研基金,廣東省教育廳科技創新項目,廣州市產學研協同重大專項(聯合主持),廣州市科技計畫項目,中科院計算機系統結構國家重點實驗室開放基金等十多項課題。近年來共獲批和申報國家發明專利二十多件。

擔任國際期刊(International Journal of Grid and High Performance Computing)、英文書籍(Grid Technologies and Utility Computing: Concepts for Managing Large-Scale Applications)和(Innovative Research and Applications in Next-Generation High Performance Computing)的編委會委員。擔任多個國際國內學術會議組委會委員,以及ACM Transactions,IEEE Transactions等數十個國際學術期刊和國際會議的論文審稿人。
