邱海軍教授先後主持國家自然科學面上基金、國家重點研發計畫項目子課題、國家自然科學青年基金、中國科學院國際合作局對外合作重點項目課題、陝西省自然科學基礎研究計畫項目等多項縱向科研項目,參與國家級與省部級等橫向和縱向項目20餘項,出版專著2部,公開發表SCI、EI和核心期刊等論文60余篇(其中第一作者和通信作者46篇),論文他引780余次。入選2018 年度“西北大學仲英青年學者計畫”,是陝西高等學校自然地理學教學團隊和自然地理學省級精品課程骨幹成員。國際及國內學術期刊審稿人(Progress in Physical Geography, Arctic Antarctic and Alpine Research, Journal of Mountain Science, Landscape and Urban Planning,Scientific Reports,地球科學,山地學報,第四紀研究等)。
