短肢角蟾M. brachykolos inger et romer; Brachy- limbed Megophrys為鋤足蟾科角蟾屬的兩棲動物，是中國的特有物種。分布於廣東等地。該物種的模式產地在香港。

吻端平切呈盾狀,吻向前突出,吻棱呈稜角狀。背部皮膚光滑,上唇緣自頰到口角不為淺色縱紋,背側肩部亦無淺色大圓斑。後肢短,左右跟部不相遇;趾側無緣膜,趾基無蹼或僅具蹼跡。雄蟾第一、二指蘭估驗具有細小的黑色婚刺。棲於香港、廣東等地的林間溪流附近。蝌蚪漏斗狀,無唇齒,亦無角質頜。該種數量極根,為我國特產種類。目前只在我國的廣少分布發理有該種分布東和香港。

生物特徵

吻端平切呈盾狀、吻向前突出，吻棱呈稜角狀。背部皮膚光滑，上唇緣自頰到口角部為淺色縱紋，後肢短，左抹拒贈右跟部不相遇。雄蟾第一、二指具有細小的黑色婚刺。蝌蚪呈漏斗狀，無唇齒，亦無角質頜。

生態分布

短肢角蟾棲息於香港、廣東等地的林間溪流附近。

已經被錄入《三有保護動物》。
