教育經歷
1984年畢業於北京中醫藥大學，並獲藥學學士學位，之後在北京中醫藥大學從事了兩年分析化學助教工作。自1986年開始，留學日本武庫川女子大學（自2007年開始，該校就已經與北京中醫藥大學建立了友好學術交流關係），並分別於1989年和1992年獲得日本武庫川女子大學碩士及藥學博士學位。
研究方向及個人成就
白莉博士長期活躍於中草藥研究領域，近15年來從未間斷過對中草藥有效成分的提取、分離及結構鑑定研究，從中草藥中發現並命名的天然有效成分已達10多種，並將中醫藥研究成果帶入世界主流社會。基於白莉博士在中草藥領域所作出的傑出貢獻，分別於1998年被收錄於世界名人錄（Who is who in the world）、2007年被收錄於亞洲名人錄（Who is who in Asia）、並於2010年被英國劍橋國際名人傳記中心（International Biographical Center，Cambridge，England）授予21世紀植物藥研究傑出貢獻人物獎。
