王生進

清華大學電子系教授,媒體大數據認知計算研究中心主任,兼任中國圖象圖形學學會視頻監控與安全專委會主任、北京圖象圖形學會副理事長、全國安防標委會人體生物特徵識別套用分技術委員會委員、公安部安全防範技術與風險評估公安部重點實驗室學術委員會委員、自動化學會國防大數據分會副主任委員、危爆品掃描探測國家工程實驗室副主任。

多年從事圖像分析、目標檢測與識別、智慧型視頻分析、生物特徵識別、計算機視覺和模式識別等方面研究工作。在行人再識別(Person ReID)研究領域具有國際領先的研究成果,貢獻了Person ReID研究領域3個大型公開圖像數據集。作為起草人之一,制定中華人民共和國公共安全行業標準《安全防範系統生物特徵識別套用術語》和國家標準《安全防範視頻監控數字視音頻編解碼技術要求(SVAC)》。

個人履歷

多年從事圖像分析、目標檢測與識別、智慧型視頻分析、生物特徵識別、計算機視覺和模式識別等方面研究工作。以目標檢測和識別、目標跟蹤、行為分析為基礎,構建對於國家安全和公共安全有重大需求的智慧型視頻分析系統。近年來,研究團隊獲得了包括863、國家自然科學基金、教育部博士點基金等多個國家項目支持,並取得出色成果。

科研成果

王生進教授團隊在行人再識別(Person ReID)研究領域具有國際領先的研究成果,學術論文覆蓋計算機視覺、人工智慧頂級期刊(TPAMI、TIP)、頂級國際會議(ICCV、CVPR、ECCV)。MIT Technology Review給予高度評價。同時,團隊貢獻了Person ReID研究領域3個大型公開圖像數據集,Market-1501,iLID-VID及視頻數據集MARS。其中iLID-VID下載超過3700次。SVDNet方法論文被評選為ICCV2017 spotlight,RPP方法刷新國際最高水平。目前,相關技術開始在安防領域展開試用。在兩個典型行人序列數據集上,所開發的新方法準確率分別比現有最好方法提高了5.7%和16.3%,在平安城市視頻監控套用領域具有良好潛力,國際權威期刊IEEE PAMI發表了這項成果。
2018年,學術論文“Attend and Align: Improving Deep Representations with Feature Alignment Layer for Person Retrieval”獲得2018年國際模式識別大會(ICPR2018)最佳學術論文獎。
作為起草人之一,制定中華人民共和國公共安全行業標準《安全防範系統生物特徵識別套用術語》和國家標準《安全防範視頻監控數字視音頻編解碼技術要求(SVAC)》。
