人物履歷

1970年生,博士、教授,博士生導師。中國科學院百人計畫入選者。國際托卡馬克物理研究活動磁流體工作組中方成員。
2013年,入選中國科學院百人計畫和科技部ITER計畫人才專項支持, 擔任中國科學技術大學物理學院近代物理系教授。
2013年7月13日,近代物理系新引進百人計畫教授朱平博士正式報到,就職於電漿物理學科點。
1992年復旦大學物理學專業理學學士,
朱平
1996年中國科學院物理研究所電漿物理專業理學碩士,
2001年獲美國University of Texas at Austin物理學Ph.D學位。
先後在美國University of Iowa, University of New Hampshire, University of Wisconsin-Madison 等高教科研機構從事磁約束聚變和空間磁層電漿物理的理論計算工作,
2013年受聘中國科學技術大學物理學院近代物理系教授。

主要成就

曾主持美國國家科學基金,中國科學技術部ITER國內專項計畫,中國國家自然科學基金等多項課題,已在國際專業期刊發表論文30餘篇,數次在國際學術會議上作邀請報告和任分會主席。
朱平
主要研究方向為理論與計算電漿物理,及其在聚變和空間電漿物理中的套用。通過解析理論和大規模數值模擬計算,系統考察磁約束聚變裝置和地球磁層電漿中的巨觀及介觀不穩定性,探索聚變和空間電漿物理中非線性和複雜性等諸多近代物理的基本普適問題,為建立磁約束聚變運行控制模型和空間天氣預測模型提供理論基礎,積極為國家的聚變能發展和空間開發計畫提供基礎科學服務。2002年起開始擔《Physics of Plasmas》和《Journal of Geophysical Research》特邀審稿人,以及美國國家科學基金和美國能源部特邀項目評審人。
