劇情簡介
作為一個事業蒸蒸日上的基金經理人，凱特·瑞迪（莎拉·傑西卡·帕克飾）雖然年過中年，但她的生活乍看上去挺讓人羨慕，不僅兩個小孩聽話懂事，丈夫更是溫柔體貼，家庭和睦。其實內中的煩心事只有她自己清楚，由於工作繁忙，她無暇照看小孩，請來的小保姆常常懈怠兩個小孩；自己太過強勢，丈夫理察·瑞迪（格雷戈·金尼爾飾）每天忍氣吞聲，和自己漸行漸遠；公司里更是隔三岔五的便有男人大獻殷勤……在這之外，並沒打算要出軌的凱特，則將一個網上的聊天對象作為了自己生活的發泄口。周旋在這堆破事之間，凱特微妙的維持著生活方方面面的平衡，但這種平衡，某天終於被突如其來的意外給打破了……
