學習與工作經歷
1982年畢業於蘭州醫學院醫療專業，獲醫學學士學位。
1983-1993年在蘭州醫學院第一附屬醫院工作，任主治醫師。
1993年畢業於蘭州醫學院婦產科專業，獲醫學學碩士學位。
1996年畢業於蘭州大學細胞生物學專業，獲理學博士學位。
1996年-1998年中國科學院近代物理研究所博士後。
1998-2000年德國波恩大學臨床生化研究所DAAD學者。
2000-2003年美國德拉瓦大學生物系研究員。
2003年至今在中國科學院近代物理研究所工作，任研究員。
主要研究成果
973首席；百人計畫；甘肅省領軍人才；
甘肅省自然科學二等、三等獎各1項；甘肅省科技進步一等獎2項、二等獎2項；中國人民解放軍醫療成果一等獎1項。
獲獎及榮譽
1. 在重離子治癌機理研究中，完成了從分子、細胞和動物整體層面對重離子治癌有效性和安全性的評價，並證實了其機理；
2. 負責完成了213例腫瘤患者重離子臨床治療試驗，取得明顯療效；
3. 負責組建了“中國科學院重離子輻射生物醫學重點實驗室” 和“甘肅省重離子束輻射醫學套用基礎重點實驗室”。
