《地球超人》（Captain Planet and the Planeteers）是一部環保主義的美國動畫影集。導演Ted Turner。製作公司為DIC Entertainment公司（1990年-1993年）、Hanna-Barbera公司（1993-1996年）和Turner Program Services公司。影集曾經在中國中央電視台新聞·綜合頻道（現綜合頻道，即CCTV-1）晚六點檔少兒節目（《大風車》的前身）的“聰明屋”板塊中播出過。

基本情況

大地女神蓋亞已經無法忍受人類給地球帶來的破壞，她將五枚分別帶有土地、火、風、水、心靈能力的神奇戒指給予了來自地球五大洲的五位少年，組成了名為“地球衛士”的組織，當這五枚戒指的力量合一時，便能出現一位有著神奇力量的環保英雄——地球超人（號稱“超人”，其實能力十分的貧弱：通常只要淋污染物就能被打倒）。

隨著人類文明的發展，地球環境卻遭到越來越嚴重的破壞。大地女神蓋婭不願看到情況繼續惡化，她將五枚分別帶有土地、火、風、水、心靈能力的神奇戒指給予了來自地球五大洲的五位少年，分別是非洲的夸美，擁有土地的威力；北美的輝樂，擁有火的威力；蘇聯的琳卡，擁有風的威力；亞洲的姬伊，擁有水的威力；南美的瑪狄，擁有心靈的威力。少年們可以憑藉戒指發揮出相應的能力去阻止破壞環境的行為，當他們的對手過於強大時，五枚戒指集結一起便可喚出地球超人。地球超人和少年們一次次挫敗自然環境破壞者的行徑與陰謀，為了保護綠色地球不懈努力。
