中國科學院動物研究所副研究員。自1996年6月，一直從事川金絲猴和滇金絲猴的行為生態學與行為學研究工作，並於2003年正式在雲南白馬雪山自然保護區塔城響古箐地區建立滇金絲猴野外研究基地。2008年-2010年出任白馬雪山自然保護區管理局滇金絲猴研究中心技術總監。

1993.9-1996.7 就讀於西北大學生物系，1996年6月獲生物學理學學士學位；
1996.9-1999.7 就讀於西北大學生物系動物學方向，1999年7月獲理學碩士學位；
1999.9-2002.7 就讀於北京師範大學生命科學學院生態學研究所， 2002年7月獲理學博士學

靈長類動物行為學、生態學。
科研項目
2002年進入動物所以來，先後主持國家基金委自然科學基金項目和橫向課題6項，總經費人民幣129萬元；作為骨幹參與國際合作項目、國家基金項目、973項目子課題，涉及經費人民幣300萬元。目前在研項目2項。
