紐約某五星級義大利餐廳，為什麼今晚份外滿座？食客蜂擁，難道只為一嘗老闆獨子兼天才大廚幾道創新菜式？兩個要求瓜分餐廳利潤的黑幫、與大廚上過床的女食評人、刻薄又多話的美術館館主、多疑的警察夫婦、愛坐吧檯的西裝男人──個個互不相識，卻統統不請自來，誰主誰客再已分不清。當晚宴接近尾聲，一切味美佳肴，一切爭端瓜葛，已被殺意悄悄蓋過。
