背景
Upside Down是A-Teens第二張專輯中的第一支單曲。在2000年8月的美國大力宣傳活動之後，A-Teens回到了錄音室著手下一張專輯的錄製。這支單曲在2000年9月的Viva音樂節首次公布。這是A-Teens首次演唱原唱歌曲而不是翻唱。
在A-Teens的祖國，該單曲發布3周后單曲達到了鉑金銷量。01年初，該單曲銷量在瑞典超過了12萬，達到了2×鉑金的成績。
在美國與加拿大該歌曲被重命名為"Bouncing off the Ceiling (Upside Down)"，在Billboard Hot100排名95，而單曲專輯的銷量達到了第12位。
Upside Down成為A-Teens在英國的最熱單曲，首日銷量3711張，最高排名第十。在雅虎音樂評論上，Upside Down達到了8/10星。
2001年在美國，為迎合Teen Spirit與Upside Down，一張DVD單曲也被發布。其包含Upside Down和Mamma Mia(來自The ABBA Generation)兩首標題單曲的MV。美國單曲CD包含了Upside Down，Super Trouper(作為bonus track)，Upside Down的MV和一張明信片。

MV
由Patrick Kiely導演，在2000年的10月13-15日，該MV在加利福尼亞洛杉磯的Universal Studio錄製完成，大致內容為在一個事物全都翻覆的空間，一名學生與另一名同學熱戀，於是他們無法專注於課堂，這徹底顛覆了他們的生活。MV的舞蹈編排為Wade Robson。該MV在全球數個國家排名第一，在墨西哥的播放次數排在弟25位。在在13年11月，該MV被添加到Youtube的A-TeensVEVO頻道。
該單曲在《好景再現》的原聲帶中亦出現。
