Bob Marley創作的的歌曲《one love》出自1978年專輯《Exodus》（出走埃及），為馬利代表作之一。歌曲旋律歡快優雅，內容方面則是更勝一籌。在1978年，馬利回到了牙買加參加一場名為“一份愛，一份和平”的音樂會，那時的牙買加已經淪為一個暴力和犯罪的國家，你只要花上十元錢就可以僱傭一個殺手去殺人。馬利此次回國，當然是為結束這種讓他痛心的恐怖狀況。於是，在這場演唱會上演唱了這首歌，並他用自己的方式作出了偉大的事業，那就是將牙買加總理曼利和他最大的政敵西加的手握在一起，高高舉過了頭頂。這一象徵寬容和解的動作永遠載入了牙買加的史冊。
