西方慣例
your first name (US often given name) is, in English-speaking countries, the name given to you by your parents at birth. 在說英語的國家中first name(美語常作given name)是名字，是出生時父母給取的。
the name common to your family is your family name or, more usually, surname.姓是family name, 多作surname. in Christian countries, Christian name is often used for first name. 在基督教國家中，常以教名(Christian name)為名（first name）。
forename, also meaning first name, is formal and is often found on documents, application forms, etc. forename 也是first name, 但用法較莊重，常見於檔案、申請表格等中。
漫畫中的NAME
首先要寫這個給編輯看過以後，如果OK就可以成為原稿了，不管重複多少次也要寫到OK為止。
但是只有被認同的有才能的漫畫家才可以把name給編輯看，其他人（如剛出道的）只能把完成好的原稿寄給編輯部或者拿過去。
