來自美國的Daphne Loves Derby組建於2004年,樂隊成員包括鼓手Stu Clay 17歲，貝司兼唱Jason Call 17歲，主音兼吉他手Kenny Choi 19歲，就是一隻這樣平均年齡不到18歲的indie樂隊,在2005年初發行了樂隊首張EP,Closing Down the Pattern Department,並備受美國年輕一代的推崇....短短的半年過去,Daphne Loves Derby就帶來了樂隊的首張專集On the Strength of All Convinced.
可能是由於年齡的緣故,他們的音樂氣質有很自然的清新(但跟Club8那種不同),音樂語言帶著未近世事的浪漫,小孩子的真情.但不要小看這隻大家常說的幼齒型樂隊,論才氣論技術他們可跟自己的年齡大不相付!
