歌手是星巴克的服務員，與女朋友相戀8年後求婚成功，一場意外讓女朋友智商只有2歲，為醫治女朋友他參加選秀節目，遺憾止步23強。2009年10月，克里斯·梅迪納與未婚妻胡莉亞納（Juliana）結婚時遭遇車禍，胡莉亞納因此腦癱，如今只能坐上輪椅度日，生活不能自理。但他依然不離不棄的去照顧未婚妻。並誓言一輩子不會離她而去。這首歌就是為她而寫。
