Company Introduction

Founded in Amsterdam, the Netherlands in 1998, Vitaminstore has grown to become one of the country's largest specialty store in food supplements, sports nutrition ad natural cosmetics.

With twenty stores in all major Dutch cities and a large online store, Vitaminstore is the go-to store for any health related product or advice.

Nowadays, Vitaminstore has come to China and use the Chinese Name of “維養薈”, they have opened two stores in Xiamen & Shanghai already, hope to bring the health store concept into the Chinese market.

Brand Origin

Vitaminstore is established in 1998 in the Holland, which was founded by Mr. Koert Otten and Mr. Alain Vermeulen. Now, almost fifteen years after opening their first store in Amsterdam, they decided to cross the boarders and expand internationally. Their personal interest in China and its health-conscious culture were decisive to expand their health store concept into the Chinese market.

Brand Develpoment

In 2012, there are more than 20 physical stores in Holland, which are located in every main city center of the country.

At Vitaminstore you can now find more than 2,000 different products, among which are the best brands of vitamins availablein the market. The company's ecommerce website, even sells 40,000 different products. The total corporate revenue exceeded 85,000,000 RMB in 2011, of which 25 million was made in online sales. With a market share of almost 25%, Vitaminstore is the biggest chain of health stores in the Netherlands.

In 2010 Vitaminstore successfully expanded their online sales channels in Europe, and today they have opened their store in Xiamen China. The store there will be the first of the projected 300 Vitaminstore's that will open throughout the country in the coming years. Another store in Shanghai will be open at the middle of December, 2012.

Vitaminstore has more than 20 stores in Netherlands: Alkmaar; Amstelveen; Amsterdam (2); Amersfoort ;Den Bosch; TheHague; Gouda; Haarlem; Heemstede; Heerlen; Leidschendam; Leusden; Pijnacker; Roermond; Rotterdam (2); Utrecht; Vlaardingen; Weert.

Vitaminstore has two stores in China already: Xiamen, Shanghai.

E-commerce

In Europe, online sales are generated through Vitaminstore's own E-commerce channels such as Vitaminstore Holland & Vitaminstore Germany.

In China, Vitaminstore sells its products through three platforms: Taobao, Tmall and its own branded site.
