在德國美因茨約翰·古騰堡大學獲得德語語文學和美國語言學碩士學位，在讀期間獲得DAAD提供的獎學金，在美國加州大學戴維斯分校學習交流一年。在德國萊茵蘭-普法爾茨州博士生獎學金的資助下獲得博士學位。曾在美因茨大學任教一年半。具有歌德學院頒發的對外德語教學資格證書。德意志學術交流中心(DAAD)派駐北京理工大學教師。
