Martika（如出生瑪塔馬雷羅，5月18日，1969年，惠蒂爾，加州）是美國流行歌手，詞曲作者和女演員 。作為一名歌手，她在20世紀80年代末和90年代初推出的兩個國際上成功的專輯，暢銷全球超過400萬張。
歌曲影響
作為反毒廣告單曲，《Toy Soldiers》衝上billboard榜單冠軍寶座並蟬聯2周冠軍。
1989 年，Martika 演唱了《Toy Soldiers》，曾在美國Billboard排行榜上位列第五。當年 Martika 在美國流行樂界名噪一時，有人稱她為“麥當娜第二”，可惜她於九十年代初結婚，以後就退出了樂壇。而Eminem 的改編令人們再度想起了 Martika。於是 Sony / BMG 唱片公司利用這個時機，推出了 Martika 精選專輯《Toy Soldiers》。1980 年代，由於 MTV 台的堀起，利用影像結合音樂的新趨勢行銷，讓一些色藝雙全的新生代歌手，有了絕佳的表演新舞台，在 80 年代後期開始由 Tiffany、 Debbie Gibson 揭開 Teen 偶像歌手爆紅的濫觴，到後期的 Tommy Page 等，為這一波青少年偶像狂潮驚艷全球樂壇做了最精彩的詮釋。
