內容簡介
From the time of Mary Poppins to the present day, British nannies have always had a special way with children. And though trends and guidelines for bringing up children may come and go, much of the time-honored wisdom of the traditional nanny finds a welcome place with every generation. Each chapter of this delightful book presents heartwarming advice for parents of newborns to preschoolers and covers everything from feeding infants to potty training to handling tantrums. Illustrated with Victorian-era line drawings, Tips from a British Nanny shows that the loving nurture and tender care shown by the best nannies is as valuable as it ever was.
