黑眼豆豆合唱團The Black Eyes Peas將於2010年11月30日發表他們的第六張專輯，名為《The Beginning》。該專輯由Interscope Records唱片公司發行。Will`I`Am解釋道，“The Beginning是指開始適應那些最尖端的技術，比如說被擴大的現實感，3D技術和360度影像。 另外，它也指需要更富有實驗精神，並且把那些我們喜歡的老歌拿來用那些有些瘋狂甚至病態的節奏重新編曲。為了和這樣的主旨保持一致，專輯的第一單曲 “The Time (The Dirty Bit)”，是建立在1987年的經典歌曲 “(I’ve Had) The Time of My Life”的採樣基礎之上，這首歌當初由比利·麥德利和詹妮弗·沃恩斯共同演唱。
The Time (The Dirty Bit)於美國時間27日在黑眼豆豆的官方網站開放試聽。
The Time (The Dirty Bit)的MV，邀請到了曾經導演了“Imma Be ”和 “Rocking That Body ”，以及Eminem “Not Afraid ”，The All-American Rejects全美反對陣線的“The Wind Blows ”，Fergie “Clumsy ”和the Pussycat Dolls “Hush Hush ”的瑞奇·李Rich Lee來執導。
另，還有一些單曲作為專輯宣傳而發行，比如"Do It Like This"等。
