Spice Girls合唱組是全球最為火爆的女子偶像組合，由Mel C、Victoria、Emma、Mel B、Geri（已離隊）5位活力四射、年輕貌美的英國姑娘組成。她們打破了以往女子演唱組形象統一、風格一致的習慣，每個人的打扮都是新潮各異、獨樹一幟，充分展現出她們的個人魅力。1996年，辣妹的第一張單曲碟《Wannabe》在英國一經推出即榮登英國單曲排行榜冠軍寶座，並持續了7周之久，銷量高達500多萬張。1997年年初，她們的首張專輯《Spice》自同年2月進入Billboard榜後，在前10名中已持續了二十幾周，到9月為止，她們已有3首單曲奪得Billboard榜冠軍，MTV《Wannabe》又獲得1997年年底頒發的美國MTV獎的
“最佳舞曲音樂”大獎。驕人的成績讓樂壇天后們黯然失色。1998年，Spice Girls推出《Spice World》再次震撼全球，1999年，她們又為離隊的Geri做了一首《Goodbye》。
Spice Girls是真正的潮流先鋒，她們不光要在聽覺、視覺上震撼你，嗅覺上也絕不放過你。她們推出的Spice Girls體香劑號稱能讓女孩子一整天感受自信。體香劑的品種繁多：熏衣草和香草、琥珀和紅辣椒、茉莉花、紅柑、紫檀木，它們代表了女人的性感和善變。
除了電影《Spice World》以外，她們還推出一本名為《Spice》的官方雜誌，內附Spice Girls的獨家照片和演唱會的信息，全書共100頁，完全講述新一代女孩兒的生活，頗受好評。
2000年10月她們又終於推出了最新力作《Holler》。
